The 2022 National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) Metallic Cat World Championship  Futurity returns to the iconic Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas, from November 14 through  December 10, 2022, with millions of dollars up for grabs in this record-breaking cutting competition.

The NCHA World Championship Futurity was established in 1962 in Sweetwater, Texas, and has grown  over the past 60 years to include over 2,100 entries from around the world. This event features three year-old cutting horses that are competing for the first time ever across 27 days of competition. Event  attendees will experience not only the world-class cutting competition taking place each day in the Coliseum but will also see the daily Best of the West Trade Show located in the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibit Hall and special events for the entire family to enjoy throughout the facility.

On Friday, November 18, join us for the NCHA Western Runway Fashion Show presented by Beau  Galyean Stallion Services featuring Ghostwood Blended Bourbon and live music from Fort Worth’s own  Summer Dean. This family-friendly event will feature the latest in western fashion featuring items from  the Best of the West Trade Show. Saturday, November 19, will include Strait to the Tailgate, a free event  featuring live music from Texan artist Colton Rice and Amanda Kate Ferris as the headliner. Join us for  great music, food and giveaways just across the street from Dickies Arena.

If animals are more your speed, the NCHA World Championship Futurity will include three opportunities  for the children to enjoy live animals, all in the climate-controlled Best of the West Trade Show. On  Saturday, November 26, join us for a free petting zoo and complimentary face painting. Mark your  calendar for December 3 and 4 to visit Cowboy Santa and his live reindeer!

In addition to these great events, the NCHA World Finals presented by Dual Smart Rey will be in Watt  Arena on November 26 and 27 and from November 30 through December 3. The World Finals features  the top 15 cutting horses from around the world competing in their respective classes. We invite you to  attend this free event and learn more about the sport of cutting.

The NCHA Metallic Cat World Championship Futurity, NCHA World Finals presented by Dual Smart Rey,  and the accompanying special events are free to the public, with the exception of December 8 through  10.
