Tuesdays are for the scene, the artists, the locals who need to see and support their favorite musicians paving the way for the great talent within this eclectic musical ecosystem. This is the day to support music in Fort Worth. This is the day to support those struggling in the live music industry. To thank the audio engineer, to hang with the bartender, figure out who is coming up, who has made it and who is still making Fort Worth a special place as Texas’ first Music Friendly City.
Each artist gets mixed by Fort Worth Pro Mark Randall, founder of Blackstone Recording Studio, a mixed and mastered live track from Blackstone and a video recording of the entire show for their own marketing and content use.

Blackstone Recording Studio – Where Fort Worth’s artists go to record
Mark Randall is the owner and audio engineer at Blackstone Studio. His love for recording began in 2013 when his band from the University of North Texas experienced January Sound in Dallas. From that point on, Mark knew his career path had moved from musician to engineer. By the end of the next year, he had earned his degree in Advanced Audio Recording from the Recording, Radio and Film Connection after spending many hours at January Sound with the legendary Rick Rooney.
Mark remains plugged into the world of live music, notably as audio engineer for the Live at the Omni series, the Printed Threads Showroom Sounds series, shows at local venues as well as touring with The Toadies.
For 2023 and 2024, the Fort Worth Weekly recognized Blackstone for music production and Mark for audio engineer.
