North Texas High School Rodeo Association Finals 5/30

The North Texas High School Rodeo Association is a 501C3 Association which promotes excellence in the classroom and arena. Our theme this year is” Legends in the making”. NTHSRA has been in business since 1972, and we currently have 341 student athletes representing 80 plus schools throughout Texas. We host 22-25 rodeos per year and the top ten each week compete for money and points resulting in our year end top 15.

**The top 15 cowboys and cowgirls in each event compete for over $60,000 in money and prizes. Our events are Bareback, Calf roping, Breakaway roping, Ribbon roping, goat tying, steer wrestling, Team roping, Pole bending, chute dogging, Barrel racing and bull riding.
