This month, CreativeMornings welcomes voice over artist Brian Mathis for a conversation about creating, and how that looks in the world of voice acting.

What does it actually take to voice an anime character? For Fort Worth native Brian Mathis, it’s part performance, part drama, and a whole lot of range. Brian is the voice behind characters in more than 160 anime productions for Crunchyroll and other major studios. Over the years, he’s built a career turning scripts into unforgettable characters.

Brian has also performed in theaters in DFW and around the country. These days he spends a lot of time traveling to meet fans at anime conventions across the U.S. and U.K., sharing stories from the booth, and always working on the next role. At CreativeMornings, he’ll pull back the curtain on the process, the industry, and the moments fans never see.
