Claire Hinkle is a Fort Worth, Texas–born singer-songwriter whose work blends country/Americana storytelling with a sharp rock edge, delivering a high-energy sound that moves seamlessly between genres.
She began writing and performing at a young age before moving to New York City to attend The New School, where she graduated in 2022 with degrees in music and philosophy. While in New York, she performed at venues including The Bitter End, building a strong live foundation.
After returning to Texas and fronting a regional rock band, Hinkle re-centered her artistry in 2024 around her roots in Americana and narrative songwriting, bringing with it the energy and stage presence developed through rock.
She has since performed at South by Southwest in both 2025 and 2026, AmericanaFest in 2025, and has been a featured artist by Western AF. In 2026, she was named Singer/Songwriter of the Year by Fort Worth Weekly.
Her first release as a full-time solo artist, produced by Grammy Award–winning Shooter Jennings, reflects her ability to bridge traditional and contemporary sounds while connecting with a wide range of audiences.
