Mule Alley Welcomes Flea Style in Fall 2021

FORT WORTH, TEXAS  (July 26, 2021) – The historic Fort Worth Stockyards is pleased to announce retail emporium Flea Style will be expanding with a store opening in Mule Alley in fall 2021. Known for supporting unique style and small businesses, the Mule Alley location of Flea Style will offer a similar experience for shoppers, including retail items such as local goods, artisan clothing, jewelry, home decor, custom hats, and western-influenced pieces for the local customer.

Originally an outdoor pop-up flea market called The Dallas Flea founded by Brittany Cobb in 2009, Flea Style will open its third retail store in Mule Alley featuring custom collaborations between makers, rare finds that Cobb sources around the globe, including clothing, jewelry, home decor, hats, and unique western wear.

“We’re so excited to expand to Cowtown,” says Brittany Cobb, CEO and founder, who sprinkles her personal flea market finds throughout the stores monthly. “With the success of our Wide Brim concept store in Hotel Drover and our Stetson hat collection, we know Mule Alley is the perfect location to bring our retail and restaurant brands and cannot wait to swing open our doors.”

The 3,400-square-foot space will also house their biggest hat bar to date, slinging their private label Stetson collection as well as colorful vegan options and a huge assortment of unique accents for customers to make bespoke hats. A mini version of their full-fledged restaurant Heirloom Haul will also sit inside offering specialty sips such as their best-selling frosé and signature lattes for guests to enjoy in-store or while walking around the Mule Alley district.

“Flea Style completes our tenant mix of western wear brands that are available at Mule Alley and cements our status as the only place that visitors can find an unparalleled, curated retail experience,” says Fort Worth Heritage Development Co. Team Leader Design and Development Kayla Wilkie. “Flea Style customers travel far and wide to experience Cobb’s unique mix, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to offer that to Fort Worth locals and Stockyards tourists alike.”

Flea Style will join Mule Alley’s open tenants, including Marriott Autograph Collection resort Hotel Drover, Provender Hall, Sidesaddle Saloon, Shake Shack, Lucchese Bootmaker, American Paint Horse Association’s flagship experience, Biscuit Bar, Cowtown Winery, Wrangler, King Ranch Saddle Shop, Proper Supply Co., and Simpli.fi national headquarters. Mule Alley will soon welcome additional retail and restaurants, including Second Rodeo Brewing Co., Avoca Coffee, two new restaurant concepts from Chef Tim Love, and MELT Ice Creams.

Flea Style is located at 128 E Exchange Ave and will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, please visit fleastyle.com and follow on Instagram @fleastyle.
