After 45 years of legendary nights, unforgettable performances and countless memories, Billy Bob’s Texas is turning up the volume — and lighting up the room — with a major upgrade to its sound and lighting systems.
The upgraded systems will deliver greater clarity, consistency and impact throughout the venue, giving artists and fans an even better experience from the dance floor to the stage.

The new sound and lighting systems represent the latest chapter in that story. The improvements are designed not only to elevate concerts and special events, but also to complement the many experiences that make Billy Bob’s Texas unlike any other entertainment venue. From live music and dancing to bull riding and special events, the upgrades will help create a more immersive experience for guests throughout the venue.

We’re investing in the future while keeping the heart and soul of Billy Bob’s exactly where it belongs — right here in Fort Worth.” “Considering we are having concerts in a room designed to hold livestock, there’s no denying that Billy Bob’s Texas has faced challenges providing perfect audio in the past. That said, the new upgrades account for both the room’s shape and much-needed equipment improvements. That includes new speakers throughout the entire venue, acoustic treatment, an entirely new lighting package and suspended speakers that provide a wider view of the stage,” said John Zaskoda, Production Manager.
