People who live the longest in Blue Zones areas of the world eat mostly a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes and nuts. It’s what we call eating with a “Plant Slant.” You might be surprised how many local restaurants offer plant-based options that are not only packed with essential nutrients but incredibly delicious. We all know the past year has been hard on restaurants; many are understaffed and doing the best they can. Be kind to your server and remember to tip well, especially since you’re getting a nice discount. We recommend 20%.
