Need more than one day to celebrate Cinco de Mayo?

Fort Worth’s “Bad Ass Mexican” restaurant, El Chingon, located at 2800 Bledsoe St., Ste. 100, will host a week-long Cinco de Mayo celebración with a lineup of special events, live music, authentic dishes and bottle service, available beginning Tuesday, May 2nd.

On Cinco de Mayo, El Chingon will fire up a Cinco de Mayo edition of its signature “F It Fridays” featuring high-energy beats by Kaos, Orod, Chris Fu and ETX. For the night, specially priced bottle service will be available, as well as handcrafted cocktails and cervezas. Guests may also enjoy “Bad Ass” Mexican dishes from El Chingon’s menu, including birria tacos with beef braised in guajillo chiles, onions, cilantro and consume; a surf and turf burrito loaded with sauteed shrimp, carne asada, rice, cheese and pico de gallo all topped with house made enchilada sauce, salsa verde, cotija cheese and cilantro; fajitas with onions and bell peppers flambéed in tequila and served with pico de de gallo, guacamole, chiles toreados, sour cream, lettuce and cheese; and more.

On Saturday, May 6, El Chingon will host a viewing party for the fight between Mexican boxing superstar Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and John Ryder. while enjoying beer towers, bottle service, Mexican cuisine and more.

The five-day fiesta will wrap up on Sunday, May 7 with an exclusive menu item and live music. El Chingon will feature menudo, a traditional Mexican soup often referred to as a cure for hangovers, priced at $11, as well as a mariachi trio whose performance will begin at 2 p.m.
