Event Details
The Texas FFA Rodeo, now in its 25th year, is a dynamic and highly anticipated event held each summer during the Texas FFA Convention. Open to active FFA members across the state, the rodeo features traditional events like barrel racing, roping, bull riding, and more where FFA members showcase the skill, grit, and determination of students with deep roots in agriculture and western heritage. More than just a competition, the rodeo promotes responsibility, confidence, and leadership. Finalists compete in front of a large audience during convention, making the Texas FFA Rodeo a true celebration of talent, tradition, and the FFA spirit.
Boys Events: Calf Roping, Bareback Bronc, Steer Wrestling, Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc, Team Roping (male/female)
Girls Events: Breakaway Calf Roping, Goat Tying, Barrel Racing, Team Roping
General Timeline
Monday, July 6, 2026
10 am- Long Go
1 pm or at the conclusion of the 1st round- Second Long Go (All events except barrels)
Tuesday, July 7, 2026
10 am- Long Go Barrels Only
5:30 pm- Short Go
