The Kimbell Art Museum invites families and art lovers of all ages to a free week-long celebration of creativity, storytelling, movement and more. From Monday, March 15, to Friday, March 19, the virtual Spring Break Art Extravaganza offers imaginative fun for curious spring breakers to enjoy from home.

Partnering with locally and nationally recognized artists and organizations, the Kimbell has prepared a lineup of exciting activities and performances inspired by the museum’s permanent collection. Each day will feature art-making guides, live family programming and engaging videos created by guest artists. Reservations are only required for selected art-making sessions, and Facebook Live story times are presented in both English and Spanish. Participants can sign up to receive free art kits while supplies last. Visit kimbellart.org/springbreak for more details.

About the Kimbell Art Museum

The Kimbell Art Museum, owned and operated by the Kimbell Art Foundation, is internationally renowned for both its collections and its architecture. The Kimbell’s collections range in period from antiquity to the 20th century and include European masterpieces by artists such as Fra Angelico, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Bernini, Velázquez, Monet, Cézanne, Picasso and Matisse; important collections of Egyptian and classical antiquities; and the art of Asia, Africa and the Ancient Americas.
