Spring Break at Fossil Rim / Glen Rose
School is out, the weather is great, and Fossil Rim will have an abundance of baby animals. This is a great way to spend part of your Spring Break Week. Be sure to purchase your tickets online ahead of time.
ART Break At The Modern
Take an ART Break with family programming at the Modern while your school-aged children are on Spring Break, March 14-18.
Slow down, stop, and learn a little bit more about some of your favorite works from the Modern’s permanent collection. Each ART Break station includes a conversation with a Modern docent or educator and a gallery project focusing on selected works in the collection. On our free days, Monday and Friday, join your family and others in helping build collaborative works.
Even though you can’t touch the art (!), we have fun designed for the whole family to enjoy together. Get your creative energy flowing as you spend time with the Modern’s collection of paintings, photographs, sculpture, and video.
Theatre Arlington Spring Break Camp

Taking a break from school is awesome! Especially, when it means you can test your acting chops in Theatre Arlington’s Spring Break Camp 2022!
For ages 6-14, this all-day, Monday-Friday camp will culminate in a musical performance.

Spring Break Family Camp at BRIT and The Fort Worth Botanic Garden
Join us for Spring Break Family Camp on March 16 or 17! Bring the whole family for tons of fun and make memories that will last a lifetime in the many splendid spaces of the majestic Japanese Garden. Sign up for either a morning or afternoon session, or better yet, both! Family Camp programs are the same on both days.
For the morning Japanese Garden Art sessions, come find inspiration amongst the peace and serenity of the Japanese Garden while taking a class in botanical art. Create a masterpiece as a family that is nature-inspired, hands-on, and fun for all ages – no matter your skill level!
During the afternoon Maple Mystery sessions, work as a family using scientific tools, observational skills, and creative thinking to unveil clues that will guide you in solving The Maple Mystery.
The safety of our staff and guests is very important to us; masks are recommended during the program.

The Kimbell’s Spring Break Art Extravaganza is a family-favorite event that offers unique and imaginative fun for art lovers of all ages! This free week-long celebration of art and community features daily activities and performances inspired by the museum’s permanent collection!
Spring Break at the Carter

This week is all about raising our voices: hearing inspirational stories, getting creative, sharing our ideas, and speaking up on things that matter! Enjoy this free, fun-filled event including gallery games, art-making activities, creativity challenges, and more. All ages welcome.
- Add painted details to a collaborative printmaking project with printmaker Kristen Victorin of DFW Sick Stamps
- Create recycled artworks with Carter Community Artist Calder Kamin in collaboration with The Welman Project
- Write poetry and tell campfire stories in the special exhibition galleries

Spring Break at The Fort Worth Zoo
Make WILD plans this spring break for your camper and sign them up for Spring Break Camp! Throughout the week campers will go on daily Zoo hikes, play games and activities, and see daily animal visitors in their classroom! Campers who are in first through fifth grade are welcome to join us for this WILD adventure. Choose from All Week or Individual Days.
