Fort Worth Zoo Summer Zoo Camp

Zoo Camp provides kids ages 3 to 10 an opportunity to explore the Zoo and learn about animals in a fun, structured environment. We connect kids to wildlife through meaningful and memorable experiences in the Zoo and in the outdoors. Zoo Camp provides a community where campers can make new friends, grow in confidence, connect with wildlife and play outside.

Camp Fort Worth

School may be out, but the fun and learning doesn’t have to stop. Enroll your children in Camp Fort Worth and let them discover new skills and friendships.

The Camp Fort Worth program is full of challenging and creative activities for children ages 5 to 13. Each day promises nonstop fun and excitement.

7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday

June 28-Aug. 6, 2021

(No camp Monday, July 5, 2021)

Camp is $35 per week, or $175 for all six weeks, if paid in full at registration. Scholarships are available, for a cost of $25 per week or $125 for all six weeks, if paid in full.

Each camper will participate in the research-based reading curriculum with 45 minutes of intentional and measurable instruction based on best practices provided by a trained Literacy Support Specialist. 


Stage West Summer Theatre Camps and Conservatory

Stage West offers the following experiences for new-to-theatre and seasoned youths:
Musical Theatre (June 21-25), Puppetry, and Improv (June 28-July 2) for those aged 8-12.

The Summer Conservatory (July 7-30) is a three-week innovative program offering teenagers (12-18) a chance to study and create all aspects of theatre through the mentorship of professional artists. This program culminates in a world premiere production.

Topgolf Summer Academy

Topgolf Summer Academy is five days of non-stop entertainment and learning that kids will love. This program includes all of the components that make up the great game of golf. From chipping, putting and full swing, to the rules and etiquette, kids will learn everything they need to know to improve their game.

Each Academy is designed and taught by our golf professionals from Topgolf Coach in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Summer Academy is staffed with a low student-to-instructor ratio to ensure each Junior Golfer receives in-depth, hands-on attention while he or she develops a winning golf swing.


Jamie Dixon Basketball Camps

Jamie Dixon Basketball Camps, located at Texas Christian University, are dedicated to providing a basketball camp experience that is educational, instructional and fun!

Led by Texas Christian University Men’s Basketball coaches and players, campers will be introduced to the same mechanics and drills used with our collegiate athletes. Our coaches will share their passion for the sport of basketball in a supportive atmosphere with students of all ages and ability levels.


Art Camp & Art Study at The Modern Art Museum

These are camps for kids who love art! Here, young artists can find a home with the Modern’s interactive online alternative to our long-running and ever-popular Art Camp at the Modern. This summer’s Art Camp at home is a place for young art enthusiasts to gather and get to know each other online, while working with real artists to discover new ideas about specific works of art from the Modern’s permanent collection. As if that weren’t enough, the whole experience culminates with a virtual exhibition of camper creations. Virtual classroom space is limited to 20. Registration is required.


Serious teen artists looking for camaraderie and curious about new ways to think about art come together in this week-long interactive online alternative to the Modern’s Summer Art Study program. Art Study at home participants work closely with an the on view MODERN BILLINGS artist, Carlos Donjuan and the Sour Grapes Crew to discuss ideas prompted by a variety of investigations including their billboards and the Modern’s permanent collection. They will ultimately create work that reflects their personal discoveries throughout this enlightening and invigorating week of learning, sharing, and making. Art Study culminates in a design collaboration with Donjuan and Sour Grapes Crew for a future community engagement program.
Virtual classroom space is limited to 12. Registration is required.

TCU Fine Arts Summer Camps-Music

TCU welcomes back in-person music camps and workshops this summer! Although most of the events are on-campus and in-person, we will continue to follow TCU’s COVID-19 protocols and maintain social distancing while wearing masks to keep everyone healthy and safe. Due to TCU’s COVID-19 protocols, overnight accommodations are not available this summer – all on-campus camps and workshops will be day-only events.

Summer Arts Camps with Texas Center for Arts +Academics

Whether your child is new to the world of arts training or is a seasoned art student, your camper will grow and learn and have fun doing it! Highly qualified instructors will guide children toward their full potential as they develop their skills in one or more areas of the arts. Exposure to the arts can help shape children’s views of the world and their place in it, contributing to an arts culture that is self-sustaining, empathetic, and powerful.
Texas Center for Arts & Academics offers Summer Camps for  ART STUDIO, CREATIVE ARTS, MUSIC INTENSIVE, and DANCE INTENSIVE.


Summer Adventures at River Legacy Living Science Center

Summer Adventure Classes at the Living Science Center provide students with an exciting hands-on, minds-on opportunity to explore our natural world. A variety of programs offer an interactive, engaging way to learn about wildlife, ecology and the environment.


Camp Casa Jr.

Camp Casa Junior – One-week camp for 4-8 year-olds! Learn music, dance, drama, and theatre crafts in a fun, no-pressure, creative environment, with classes taught by seasoned theatre and education professionals. Your child will learn creative expression using their voice, body, and imagination. On the last day of camp, families will be invited to attend a final presentation of what has been learned.

*Play Early and Stay Late options are available for campers who need to be dropped off before 8:45 a.m. or picked up after 4:10 p.m. Play Early is available for Session 1 a.m. and Session 2.  Stay Late is available for Session 1 p.m. and Session 2. The cost of each is $35 for the week.


Camp Casa

Camp Casa is a two-week musical theatre summer camp for ages 8 – 14 and open to all skill levels, from beginners to accomplished young professionals. Campers will receive training from seasoned theatre and education professionals in acting, singing, and dancing as they rehearse a musical. Instructors focus on giving your camper the skills they need to succeed on and off the stage.

Session 1: June 28-July 9 (Performances the weekend of July 9-11)

Session 2: July 12-23 (Performances the weekend of July 23-25)

Amphibian Stage Tad-Poles Summer Classes

Tad-Poles gives  students (ages 10 to adult) the opportunity to “Walk Tall” as they  dance, do acrobatics, and entertain audiences on stilts. Lone Star Film Festival Summer Camps

The Little Scholars Program: Summer Session is focused on reignighting students’ love of learning within a safe, immersive learning environment for students in grades 1st through 5th.



C.A.L.F. Kids Running Camp

Help keep your child active this summer with a summer camp hosted by The Cowtown and Tarrant Area Food Bank!

The Cowtown C.A.L.F. Camp will be held Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is available to 6th – 8th graders. Campers will spend their mornings at The Cowtown, where we will cover a variety of running topics and have fun running activities. Then, the campers will walk to Tarrant Area Food Bank where they will be educated on gardening, nutrition, be presented with opportunities to volunteer, and be provided with a healthy lunch. Each participant will receive a camp shirt, pedometer, daily lunch, and a swag bag on the closing day!

The camp is geared for students in 6th through 8th grade.

The day will start at 8:30 a.m. at the Cowtown Marathon Office (2617 Whitmore St.) & will end at 4:00 p.m. at the Tarrant Area Food Bank (2525 Cullen St.)

There are two camp weeks to choose from:

June 21st – June 25th: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m

June 28th – July 2nd: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m
