An outrageously fun and immersive experience is coming to Globe Life Field that is both socially safe and guaranteed to be the bright spot of the holidays. Luminova Holidays brings to North Texas 2.7 million twinkling lights, a ginormous 10,000 square foot outdoor ice skating pond, train rides for the kids, interactive activities and so much more. Even the Big Guy in red will be at the sprawling indoor and outdoor wonderland, ready to hear everyone’s holiday wishes. “We want Luminova Holidays to be your safe holiday experience this Christmas,” says Dixie Baker, co-producer of Luminova Holidays and owner of Fort Worth-based creative marketing agency Sovic Creative. “With the challenges this year has brought to so many, it was more important than ever to safely bring families and friends together to create a fun and memorable holiday for all.”

In addition to following the CDC and Texas Department of State Health Services guidelines, Luminova Holidays is working closely with Tarrant County, the City of Arlington and the Texas Rangers to ensure the holiday celebration meets all guidelines and safety protocols recommended. Guests over the age of 10 will be required to wear masks. In addition, sanitizing stations will be set up throughout the event. Frequent disinfecting on all high area touchpoints will be done during the event operating hours and disinfectant sprayers will be used pre and post event to fully deep clean daily.  No bags will be allowed inside Globe Life Field except for necessary medical supplies and manufactured diaper bags that accompany infants and young children. Small clutch bags and clear bags will not be allowed.

The event space spans more than 270,000 square feet of outdoor and spacious indoor areas with limited capacity per night to allow for ample social distancing. When purchasing tickets online, guests will select a timed entry to avoid lines at the entrance. SUNDAY IS NATIONAL TACO DAY!

SUNDAY IS NATIONAL TACO DAY!

 NATIONAL TACO DAY 2020 — October 4

The typical definition of “Taco”, a usually fried tortilla that is folded or rolled and stuffed with a mixture of ingredients, such as seasoned meat, cheese, and lettuce, among other things, is just too dang simple once you hit the streets of The Fort when your taco craving hits you.

National Taco Day is Sunday, October 4th.  What’s Up Fort Worth is giving you some notice so you can start indulging NOW.  You can finish up with your tastings on Sunday, or why not stretch your own version of National Taco Day until Halloween.  All of your favorite taco spots will not mind one single bit.

Here is our list of taco tasting targets (in no particular order), but Taco spots with Taco in the name are listed first.
